How New Horizon Capital Earns Commission

When an investor invests in a Regular Plan of a mutual fund scheme through New Horizon Capital, the respective Asset Management Company may pay New Horizon Capital a distribution commission.

The commission is generally paid as trail commission and may continue for as long as the investment remains associated with New Horizon Capital’s ARN, subject to the applicable commission structure, regulations and AMC policies.

The actual commission may differ across AMCs, schemes, categories and periods and may change from time to time.

The commission is paid by the AMC in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework and commission structure. Investors should refer to the relevant scheme documents for information regarding expenses applicable to a scheme.

Regular Plan & Direct Plan

Mutual fund schemes may offer both Regular and Direct Plans.

Through A Distributor

Regular Plan

Investments facilitated through a Mutual Fund Distributor such as New Horizon Capital are made under Regular Plans, where applicable distribution expenses and commission form part of the scheme’s expense structure.

Without A Distributor

Direct Plan

Direct Plans are intended for investors investing directly with the mutual fund without routing the investment through a Mutual Fund Distributor and therefore do not include distributor commission.

Regular and Direct Plans of the same scheme generally have a common portfolio but different expense ratios and consequently separate NAVs.

The trail commission received or receivable by New Horizon Capital varies depending on the Asset Management Company, mutual fund scheme, scheme category and the commission structure applicable from time to time.
